It is now 11:05 am, 9.22.21, and Resources & Development Committee member Kee Allen Begay says there’s Commercial Smoking off-rez and so LEGISLATION 0174-21, the enactment of Navajo Nation Nilch’ Éí Bee ĺíńá – Air is Life Act of 2021. Begay also says that Navajo Nation Nilch’ Éí Bee ĺíńá – Air is Life Act of 2021 should not BLANKET the entire Navajo Nation. He says people Breathe in vehicle exhaust. And he says the Navajo Nation is dealing with uranium. GOOD GRIEF!!!! Delegate Kee Allen Begay is Basically saying that we, the Dine’, are already Infected, Polluted, Diseased & so what’s a Little More Commercial Smoke gong to do? SMH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OH YES, Kee Allen Begay says the arguments of the RDC in the Navajo language are not being INTERPRETED correctly. He says he’s reading FB comments.

It is now 10:43 am, 9.22.21, and a young Dine’ lady, whose name I did not hear, informs the Resources & Development Committee that Second Hand Smoke does not Linger on the Casino Floor. It goes into the restaurant, restrooms, hotel rooms, etc. And when you talk about the Right to Choose, then you must think about the Young Female Casino Worker, who will be immediately impacted by Commerical Tobacco, because Cancer Bio-Makers will enter her body and remain there, which means her Unborn child will be born in Five Years with cancer bio-markers. The Unborn Didn’t Have a Choice, she says.
The Dine’ young lady earned her Ph.D., and she is a scientist. She recommends that the Twin Arrows casino floor be filled with commercial smoke and then have an INDENDENT RESEARCHERS, not ones hired by Gambling Czar Parrish follow the SMOKE.
RDC Vice Chairman Herman Daniels asked for PROOF that Commercial Smoke in Navajo Govt Owned Casinos will Move into Casino hotel rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, etc, etc…
FR Herman Daniels!!!! LOL LOL LOL LOL

THIS IS COMMENT on my FB Post that included a 2010 news story about the Criminal Indictment of 77 of the 88 Council Delegates. The FB comment is from Frank Brown:
Then Alan Balaran dropped all the criminal cases and refiled seeking civil recovery. I was an investigator on that case. The same NN Council being investigated got rid of Balaran. Then the Rothstein Firm was contracted by NN DOJ and we refiled it all in criminal court under the bribery statute. Balaran called our government leaders the biggest gangsters he had ever seen and he was from Brooklyn. People, the situation with thieves running your government is much bigger and the worst I have ever seen. The council keeps the Prosecutors Office and White Collar Cime Unit poor. Even our Police Department has to practically beg the council for funds to protect them and the people. Law Enforcement on the Navajo Rez.

It is now 10:20 am, 9.22.21, and Resources & Development Committee Vice Chairman Herman Daniels says Legislation 0174.21, Enacting the Navajo Nation Nilch’ Éí Bee ĺíńá – Air is Life Act of 2021, gives NO CHOICE to Navajo Govt GAMBLING Employees, who are 99% Navajo.
LEGISLATION 0174.21 seeks Council Approval of a ban on Smoking Commercial Tobacco in Navajo Govt Owned Casinos to Protect employees and patrons working & visiting Navajo Govt Owned Casinos from Second Hand Smoke which is PROVEN to Cause Cancer.
RDC Vice Chariman Daniels argues that there needs to a Thorough Discussion about Second Hand Smoke before Banning the Smoking of Commercials Tobacco in Navajo Govt Owned Casinos.
FYI – RDC Vice Chairman Herman Daniels was among the 88 Navajo Council Delegates that were involved in the Theft of more than $30 Million from an Emergency Financial Assistance Fund for Students, Elders, Veterans, the Disabled, etc, etc…
RDC member Wilson Stewart Jr is also Spewing Out the Same Crap as RDC Vice Chairman Daniels, under the Guise of Commercial Tobacco is Not the only Cause of Cancer. Stewart even says that medical workers at the Fort Defiance, Arizona, U.S. Indian Health Services have a place to Smoke & then they go back into the Hospital & tend to Patients with Smoke on their Bodies.

It’s now 10:15 am, 9.22.21, and Resources & Development Committee member Kee Allen Begay is making a Totally Ridiculous Argument to Oppose Legislation 0174.21, Enacting the Navajo Nation Nilch’ Éí Bee ĺíńá – Air is Life Act of 2021, which would ban Smoking Commercial Tobacco in Navajo Govt Owned Casinos.
Delegate Kee Allen Begay says everyone has a choice & so everyone can choose whether to go to a Navajo govt Casino. Begay even says he’s lost relatives to Cancer.
SMH…it’s clear from Begay that he’ll vote RED/NO to the Navajo Nation Nilch’ Éí Bee ĺíńá – Air is Life Act of 2021.
RDC member Kee Allen Begay made motion to ADD language that the Navajo Nation Nilch’ Éí Bee ĺíńá – Air is Life Act of 2021
DOES NOT APPLY TO NAVAJO GOVT OWNED CASINOS. RDC member Stewart Wilson Jr. SECONDED Begay’s amendment.

It is now 9:38 am, 9.22.21, and the Resources & Development Committee ADDED a report from Navajo Transitional Energy Company, another Navajo govt business.
Health, Education & Human Services Comittee Chairman Daniel Tso presented his LEGISLATION 0174-21, which would enact the Navajo Nation Nilch’ Éí Bee ĺíńá – Air is Life Act of 2021. During the beginning of the RDC meeting, which is introductions, I heard Navajo Gaming Czar Brian Parrish introduce himself & so I checked the RDC agenda to see if Parrish had legislation or was making a report. ZERO. I think that our Navajo Gambling Czar Parrish may just SPEAK OUT AGAINST the Air Is Life Act because Banning the Smoking of Commercial Tobacco in Navajo govt owned Casinos would HURT NAVAJO GOVT GAMBLING BUSINESS…
May Peace Prevail on Mother Earth!

It is now 9:23 am, 9.22.21, and the Resources & Development Committee is listening to their legislative advisor Shammie Begay read proposed LEGISLATION 0174-21: An Action Relating to Health, Education and Human Services, Law and Order, Budget and Finance and Naabik’íyáti Committees and the Navajo Nation Council; Enacting the Navajo Nation Nilch’ Éí Bee ĺíńá – Air is Life Act of 2021. Sponsor: Honorable Daniel E. Tso Co-Sponsor:
Honorable Seth Damon
I’ll post LEGISLATION 0174-21. And I remember an earlier similar legislation to PROTECT our Sacred, Holy Being, The AIR, and our Dine’ & non-Dine’ Relatives from second hand smoke in the Naajo Nation casinos. But that legislation got voted cuz our Navajo Gambling Business informed the Council that banning Tobacco Smoking in Navajo Casinos would HURT BUSINESS & DECREASE PROFITS of our Navajo Govt, which owns the Navajo casinos.
May Peace Prevail on Mother Earth!

It’s now 9 am, 9.22.21, and the Navajo Council Resources & Development Committee Chairman Rickie Nez urges Everyone to be Respectful to each other & to luv & pray for those that are disrespectful & do you harm…Sounds good, BUT Nez conveniently forgot to also Say that Those Being Respectful & Doing Harm MUST ADMIT their DISRESPECT & HARM DONE, APOLOGIZE, and MAKE COMPENSATION. That is the Dine’ Way of Life!!
Navajo Council Law & Order Committee Chairwoman Eugenia Charles-Newton & ALL the VICTIMS of VIOLENCE MUST have a VERBAL & WRITTEN PUBIC APOLOGY from ALL the COUNCIL DELEGATES, including the ENTIRE RESOURCES & DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE, who ALL voted AGAINST an amendment sponsored by Law & Order Chairwoman Charles-Newton to take about $86,000 from the Navajo Nation Washington, D.C., Office $200,000 Renovation Budget for a Position to be Created in the Navajo Prosecutor’s Office to JUST TRACK CASES involving VIOLENCE AGAINST OUR DINE’ RELATIVES.
BUT Rickie Nez & his RDC SHOWED by their OPPOSING VOTES that they SUPPORT OFFICE RENOVATIONS over SUPPORT for VICTIMS OF VIOLENCE!!!! SMH!! WTH!! OMG!! GOOD GRIEF!!
May Peace Prevail on Mother Earth!
