Purpose of the Leadership Meeting: The Resources and Development Committee will be conducting a leadership meeting with Dzil Yijiin Naal’dloshii’ Beini, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Division of Natural Resources, Department of Agriculture, and Navajo Land Department to discuss the limited ten (10) sheep units in the Navajo Partitioned Land (“NPL”) grazing area.

    a. Presentation by the Dzil Yijiin Naal’dloshii’ Beini on Limited Ten (10) Sheep Unit. Presenter: Dorothy R. Yazzie, Percy Deal, Caroline Johnson, Jane Baloo, Rose Lee, and Bessie Allen.
    b. Division of Natural Resources, Department of Agriculture on the 638-Grazing Permits Update for NPL. Presenter: Dr. Rudolph R. Shebala, Division Director, Division of Natural Resources and Leo Watchman, Jr., Manager, Department of Agriculture c. Presentation by Bureau of Indian Affairs Navajo Regional Office on the Integrated Management Plan Environmental Assessment for NPL Grazing Permits and the Justification for the limited ten (10) Sheep Units for NPL.
