A new $40 million investment in community-based patient outreach efforts aims to improve public health education and messaging in traditionally marginalized populations, announced the Department of Health & Human Services Office of Minority Health.
The investment, which is currently fielding applications from national, state, territorial, tribal, and local organizations, specifically aims to fill in the patient outreach and education gaps that are affecting health equity during the coronavirus.
