Page 2 simply confirms everything that wud be law. Those provision not deemed invalid wud remain law. Not about giving Supreme Court power to over-rule referendum. It’s about whether referendum conflict with other law. NOt about court overruling referendum.
Let’s speak about 3/4 vote of membership and conversation with Delegate Tsosie and if concern about overturning something significantly detrimental to Nation then cud make 7/8 of Cuncil and everyone agrees that there is a problem. But this legislatin is about building trust with our people. And things happen quicker when hvae trust established.
Regarding speed trust, when none then lot more hoops to jump thru. Vote for this is vote for trust of people.
