I’m here at the Quality Inn Business Complex conference room in Window Rock, Ariz., where the Navajo Board of Election Supervisors is scheduled to begin their special meeting at 9 a.m. today, Oct. 16, 2014. The meeting is reportedly about the Writ of Mandamus that was filed with the Navajo Supreme Court by the attorneys for presidential candidates Dale Tsosie and Hank Whitethorne on Oct. 14, 2014.
Disqualified presidential candidate Chris Deschene’s running mate, Fannie Etcitty, is here with four Deschene-Atcitty supporters.
Maintenance people have informed us that the legal capacity limit for this conference room is 30, which includes the NBOES.
During the NBOES special meeting on Oct. 13, 2014, the room had about 50 people and that included Deschene.
