The US Housing & Urban Development’s deadline for Navajo Housing Authority to return federal funds was Friday, Aug. 29 and so Naabi needs an update of what happened from the Navajo Washington, DC, office.

We also need a report from tribal DC office on federal legislation that would “PUNISH” the Navajo Nation because it looks like Congress will be approving it.

We need discussion on Navajo Oil and Gas Company and the legal issue surrounding it, especially the Council’s confirmation of new Board members and the company’s charter.

i support Shepherd’s request regarding Navajo Oil & Gas. As a Navajo Oil and Gas Shareholders Committee, we are preparing a report for presentation to Council.

When we passed charter amendment for Navajo Oil & Gas, it was not sent to President Shelly, which is why he sent letter to Interior Secretary objecting to Council’s action on amended Charter. And so I want info on the legal research by Chief Legislative Counsel
I also want to have info on why Shareholders and former President Zah sued Navajo Oil and Gas. And it appears that some of shareholders received campaign financial support and other financial support. And perhaps it might result in an investigation.

My request for Navajo Supreme Court decision regarding Navajo Oil and Gas which appears to over-ride Council actions, because Supreme Court decision being applied to other enterprises, such as Navajo Transitional Energy Corporation, where NTEC being told that Shareholders have no authority over NTEC. Also payments made in the last few months to Board members that is way beyond what is allowed. Lastly, a conflict of interest of Paul Frye Law Firm in representing these various conflicting bodies.

also look into other law firms, such as Barnhouse, and lobbyists, which involved the expenditures of a large amount of Navajo Oil and Gas funds.
