Greetings Relatives/Frens/Humans, the Navajo Council Law and Order Committee approved Legislation 0201-22, which makes several amendments to Navajo laws regarding Burials and Cemetaries that includes the Removal of $10,000 in Burial Assistance and Family Plots. There is only One Public Comments on 0201-22 and that comment opposes the Removal of Family Plots. Public comment on 0201-22 continues until the Navajo Council takes Final Action on it.

NOTE – For some Unknown Reason, RDC Chairman Rickie Nez failed to include in the Title of his Legislation 0201-22 that it makes several amendments to Navajo Nation laws regarding Burials and Cemetaries. One major amendment proposed by RDC Chairman Nez is the Removal of $10,000 in Burial Assistance and Family Plots.
10:40 am, Tomicita Woody, Director, Department of Personnel Management reports on Annual Leave not used by Navajo Nation Employees and Sick Leave not used by Navajo Nation Employees
If More than 320 annual/sick leave by end of year then employee loses those hours.
More than 320 by end of 2022, then employees notified to bring hours down and that notice is done annually.
The LOC votes to Accept Report from DPM Director Tomicita Woody.
