And other tribes are way ahead of us. we are still trying to figure out what to do. Even with out policies. We have not addressed policies of previous Council. We are putting ourselves in position of nit picking each other while rest of world moves ahead of us.
Title 1, subsection 203 says it’s up to people to choose their leaders. If you make this move you have also waive this law. And it’s going to be interesting cuz Title 1 is Dine’ Fundamental law.
DELEGATE DWIGHT WITHERSPOON
Health, Education and Human Services Committee decided not to allow school employees to run for school board because of high probability that if that employee won position on school board that he or she might retaliate.
Colleagues said this amendment is antiquated but it might make it difficult for new person to go to all the extended communities when the incumbant has access. I support term limits. it speaks to the idea that towards the end of your service that people can get in rut and difficult to change. groups can also get into culture. and those in power might find it difficult to change. term limit allows new individuals to represent communities and nation. but i don’t support two terms.
and i think term limits for president is different because president has full staff.
