Navajo Nation Council votes to accept State of Nation Address from President Begaye

WINDOW ROCK, Ariz.-Navajo Nation President Russell Begaye and Vice President Jonathan Nez presented the State of the Nation Address today, July 18, before the Navajo Nation Council during opening day of the Council’s 2016 summer session.

After a lengthy question and answer period after Begaye and Nez presented the state of the Nation address, the Council voted 16 in favor, 1 opposed on accepting the State of the Nation address.
