It is now 4 p.m. and Navajo Nation Council Speaker Pro Temp LoRenzo Bates just asked the Council delegates to raise their hands if they were planning to stay late tonight to finish up the remaining 16 pieces of legislation on their two-day special session agenda.

There were three delegates that raised their hands.

Bates then announced that there would be another special session to finish up their agenda items.

The Council is now in recess for legislative attorneys to research questions regarding amendments to the Navajo Nation Tax Code.

The Council has been debating the tax amendments, which are in Legislation 0172-14.
