Greetings Frens/Relatives/Humans,
I’m here at the Navajo Nation Council chambers in Window Rock, Ariz., where the Council is waiting for a quorum. It is now 12:28 p.m. As the Council waits for a quorum, Speaker Pro Temp LoRenzo Bates presents a plaque of recognition and appreciation to Navajo Nation Legislative attorney Mariana Kahn for serving as acting Chief Legislative Counsel during some of the Council’s most difficult times.
Bates also presented a beautifully carved cedar box to Legislative Staff Assistant Harold Morgan, who is retiring today after 35 years of service.
