Navajo Nation presidential political candidate Chris Deschene announced that his running mate is Fannie Lowe-Atcitty, former Dine’ College Board member.

Before announcing his running mates, Deschene talks about what he stands for and that is energy, Navajo language, tribal sovereignty, investment for future which is achieved by walking together and sharing responsibilities.

after a process involving looking at a candidates and our vision is simply to help pple and i believe that that person will do that. that person is knowledgeable about education and brings energy and flexibilty that nation needs. our nation faces many challenges and my administration will be capable of doing that.
