New technology for Green Energy

HERE AT NAVAJO COUNCIL BUDGET AND FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING.

The committee just finished hearing a report from the Navajo Nation Veterans Affairs Office on the status of a project to construct 15 homes for veterans per agency. There are five agencies on the Navajo Reservation. The Committee’s vote was 3 in favor, 0 opposed on accepting the VA report.

The Committee is now hearing a report from K-Technology USA, Inc., on “new technology for producing renewable green energy.”

According to the presenters, K-Technology, this new technology for producing Green Energy is going through the patent process and so they will not be presenting all of the technolgy. K-Technology explained that if the Committee wanted more details on the technology that they would need to ask for an executive session.

$200 million investment and $10 million of $200 million, which would be $20 million, would be investment by Navajo Nation

K-TECHOLGOY USA, INC.
If you invest 50 percent, then that portion will return to Navajo Nation.

4 IN FAVOR, 0 OPPOSED

HEALTH, EDUCATION AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSON JONATHAN HALE
This type of technology needs to be taken seriously because of the drought issues occurring on the Navajo Reservation.
