Attached is the Navajo Nation proposed 2013 Energy Policy. It was brought before the Navajo Nation Council on Wednesday October 16, 2013 in a special session.

I made one amendment at Naa’bik’iyati’ Committee that passed, but the two I made on yesterday did not pass.

I motioned to delete this off the agenda yesterday; so, we would have more time to prepare amendments and get FEEDBACK on the proposed legislation and that did not pass.

I tried to table it, but that did not pass. So, I encouraged some delegates to walk out to lose quorum and then we would have more time to prepare amendments and address the legislation next week during the Fall Council Session. That worked!

So, attached is the proposed legislation for your review and suggestions for specific amendment language is requested. DW
