THE VOTE IS 3 IN FAVOR, 2 OPPOSED.
The two opposing votes come from Subcommittee Chairperson Delegate Leonard Tsosie and Subcommittee Vice Chairperson Leonard Pete.
The three supporting votes come from RDC members Delegates David Tom and George Apachito and RDC Vice Chairperson Roscoe Smith.

RDC member Delegate George Apachito tells the committee that the sponsored Legislation 0104-14 so that the RDC and not the Naabik’iyati Committee and Council would deal with RDCD-69-13.

Apachito noted that RDC Subcommittee Chairperson Tsosie provided a Proposal from URI/HRI but the Proposal is confidential.

NAVAJO DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE ROBERT TAYLOR
