Two Horseback Rides headed to Navajo Council Summer Session

Greetings Relatives/Frens/Humans,
I received this notice about a Four Directions Horseback Trailride that is starting today, July 14, and will end at the Navajo Council chambers in Window Rock, Ariz., on July 21, which is The first day of the five-day Navajo Council Summer Session.

It should be very interesting because the Navajo Council and other elected officials are having their annual “SUMMER HORSE AND BIKE RIDE” to promote causes such as health awareness/wellness, domestic violence awareness, and also to honor previous Navajo leaders prior to the start of the Summer Council Session.

And both horseback rides – the Council’s annual horseback ride and the 4-Directions horseback ride – are expected to arrive at the Council chambers on the same day, July 21, Monday.

The 4-DIRECTIONS HORSEBACK TRAILRIDE is to “support for our Livestock, Livelihood, Beliefs and Way Of Life. “DOODA’ Hey!” to the Rangeland Improvement Act of 2014, to the Horse Round Ups and to future Navajoland Livestock Reduction plans.”
