Greetings Relatives/Frens/Humans, I’ve been waiting here at the Navajo Council chamber for the Naabik’iyati Committee to get a quorum and convene. It’s now noon. When I arrived Delegate Katherine Benally was here and Delegates Alton Shepherd and Leonard Pete were outside talking. Delegate George Apachito also arrived. And now Delegates Joshua Butler and Walter Phelps are here. Delegates Roscoe Smith, Dwight Witherspoon and Elmer Begay came in from the coffee room, which is on the west side of the Council. Delegate Lorenzo Curley also walked in. I guess the ringing of the bell that sits in front of the Council chamber worked. Wonder why it wasn’t rung earlier…
