The Navajo Nation Council Naabik’iyati Committee confirmed Seraphina A. Nez of Tachee/Blue Gap, Arizona, as the first member of the Dine’ Uranium Remediation Advisory Commission with a vote of 16-0 on Feb. 9, 2017, at the Navajo Department of Transporation in Tse Bonito, New Mexico.

Council Delegate Kee Allen Begay sponosored LEGISLATION 0016-17 which was for the confirmation of Nez by the Naabik’iyati Committee. The final authority on 0016-17 is the Naabik’iyati Committee.
