ZenniHomes Proposes to Build 7,000 Homes on Navajo; Child Support Amendments to Increase Payments on Health, Education & Human Services Committee agenda, 10 am, 10.9.23

Greetings Relatives/Frens/Humans, the Navajo Nation Council Health, Education & Human Services Committee are hearing a report from ZenniHomes, which currently has a lease to build homes for the Navajo Nation that was approved by Navajo Nation Buu Nygren. ZenniHomes is proposing to build 7,000 homes and they want the Support of the Health, Education & Human Services Committee. ZenniHomes has a lease for a portion of the former Navajo Generating Station. ZenniHomes does not have a Navajo Business Priority 1 or 2.

Also on the HEHS agenda is Legislation 0219-23: An Action Relating to the Law and Order Committee and the Health, Education, and Human Services Committee; Approving Amendments to the Navajo Nation Child Support Guidelines and Child Support Schedule. The Sponsor of Legislation 0219-23 is Navajo Nation Council Delegate Cherilyn Yazzie.
